From us, to you
Looking back as we celebrate 6 years, we have accomplished a lot - together and individually. One of our biggest accomplishments was building new friendships that have bloomed into our little village while maintaining old friendships that we can always lean on. We have learned vulnerability, attunement, and nurturance through all these relationships.
This celebration has been done in true Chris-and-Mina fashion: at their home, non-traditional, and last minute. To anyone and everyone joining us, it makes it all the more special. To the ones that couldn’t make it because it was last minute (heh), we love you!
Thank you for being here; we appreciate you and we hope you enjoy yourselves! Thank you for helping us celebrate our lil’ love.

Our Story
June 7th will be six years celebrated as a couple. We met on a dating app when someone threw out a ‘Super Like’. Our first date went so well that it bounced to three different places and lasted about five hours. Since then, we’ve been inseparable and now share a home, two dogs, Doordash Pass and a family email (he refuses to use).
What we love about each other is our honesty and open-mindedness. Although we are very different, we share a lot of the same beliefs, sense of humor, music tastes, etc.
Chris proposed March 31st, 2024 as we were doing a final walk-thru of our new home.
Mina loves that Chris is self-less and caring. He talks to put people at ease, there were no awkward conversations or silences on our first date. He has been known to be the ‘dad’ in the group and loves practical things. He always feeds me. My favorite part is seeing him realize that he is much better than he thinks he is and the self-confidence in him that grows. They say that to be loved is to be known and he knows me very well.
Chris loves Mina’s sense of humor and her direct approach to things. We always look forward to sharing our day. She puts everything into everything and nothing into nothing. I couldn’t wait to get engaged because she said that she wouldn’t cook for me one-on-one until I put a ring on it so… let’s say everything was a banger. Chris did not give me anything to put on this section so I had to make it up myself but I’d say it’s pretty accurate. This may or not be updated later.

Our Future Plans
-
Growing Our Family
Exciting! Scary! We look forward to bringing a child (or two) into a world surrounded by lots of love. It will be a time of transition and change as a new member is added and us adjusting to new roles and responsibilities.
-
Home Improvements
One of the things we’re most excited about is turning our house into a home. We have big ideas for future projects - from one bidet to two bidets to three bidets, a dream kitchen made for cooking and connection and a beautiful something the backyard.

Starting a Business
When Chris told me that he was allergic to peanuts and his mom used cashew butter instead - I made my own version for him based off of what I’ve learned from our restaurant. He freaking loved it. Later on, I’ve shared it with our friends and they also freaking loved it. Why not try my best to share it with everyone else?
